Artist Commission Terms of Service (TOS)

1. General Terms

  • By commissioning me, you acknowledge that you have read and agreed to these Terms of Service.

  • I reserve the right to decline any commission for any reason.

  • These terms may be updated at any time. Clients will be informed of major changes that affect active commissions.

2. Payment

  • Payment is  50% upfront, 50% on completion unless otherwise agreed.

  • All prices are listed in GBP.

  • Accepted payment methods: PayPal, Ko-fi, Bank transfer.

  • Payments are non-refundable once the artwork has progressed beyond the sketch phase.

3. Process & Workflow

  • I will provide sketches in the initial phase of teh artwork for approval before continuing.

  • Estimated completion time: One week, depending on complexity and my queue.

  • You will receive periodic updates at key stages: sketch → lineart → coloring → final.

  • Revisions:

    • 2 free minor revisions are allowed during the sketch phase.

    • Additional revisions or post-approval changes may incur a fee.

4. Revisions & Edits

  • Major changes (pose change, outfit redesign, composition overhaul) after the sketch is approved will require an additional fee.

  • Once the piece is finished, no adjustments can be requested 

6. Usage Rights & Copyright

Artist Rights

  • I retain all rights to the artwork, including the right to post it publicly, use it in my portfolio, or share it as a commission example.

  • You may request the piece to remain private for an additional fee.

Client Rights

  • You may use the artwork for personal, non-commercial purposes (icons, banners, printing for personal use, etc.).

  • You may NOT:

    • claim the artwork as your own,

    • remove my signature/watermark,

    • edit or modify the artwork,

    • use the artwork commercially unless you purchased commercial rights.

Commercial Rights

  • Commercial use (merch, branding, monetized projects, VTuber models, etc.) requires an additional fee of 50% or fixed price.

8. Refund & Cancellation Policy

  • Full refunds are available only before work has begun.

  • Partial refunds (50% or less) may be granted if the artwork is in early stages.

  • No refunds will be issued after the artwork is more than 50% complete or fully completed.

  • If I must cancel a commission due to personal reasons, a full refund will be issued.

9. Communication

  • Please allow up to 12 hours for responses.

  • Failure to respond for 3 may result in delays.

  • Rude or abusive behavior results in cancellation without refund.

10. File Storage

  • I will keep the final artwork archived for 6 months. After that, I cannot guarantee backup availability.
